Being the market leader in e-commerce for consumer electronics in Portugal, we had the pleasure of re-designing the new UI/UX and adapt the brand for the new age of PCDIGA.



To redefine the new UI/UX of PCDiga, we we had to adapt the brand to the new age behaviours. We focused to re-think the interaction between the customer and the product as we were aiming to achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty by improving the usability.
PCDiga approached us with big challlenge: How to renew a high selling consumer electronics store, bringing a new style to a high demanding public.

We decided that both the brand and the interface should be big and bold, but yet maintain a certain style connected with the gaming industry.

The main issue was how to organize a lot of information in diverse pages. As consumer electronics have so much different features, compatibilities and other significant information the struggle was difficult. Data of products, consumer reviews, wishlists and much more had to be well documented to help the user make an informed decision. With gaming having a clear impact on this industry sector, we tried to make an appeal in certain aspects of the design such as the use of gradients, and the organization of the product thumbnails.

Today PCDiga is to the online digital leader of the Portuguese market on consumer electronics and continues to grow.

We developed a full iconography and new system for PCDiga. As the main focus of the brand is the digital world, we created a color scheme that could relate do the re-branding and connect with gradients as a style.
